CREW LEASHES
Crew Leashes are available in three rope diameters and 4', 5', and 6' lengths.
CHOOSE YOUR DIAMETER
LITE | 8mm (5/16")
Our lightest, slimmest rope. A good choice for smaller dogs, lightweight gear, or anyone who prefers less bulk in hand.
STANDARD | 10mm (3/8")
Our most versatile diameter and the best starting point for most dogs. X offers a comfortable balance of weight, substance, and handling without feeling overly bulky.
XT | 11mm (7/16")
Our largest rope diameter, with a more substantial feel in hand. Best suited to larger dogs or handlers who prefer a thicker, heavier leash.
Not sure which one to choose? Diameter is as much about handling preference as dog size. If you're between sizes, Standard is the most versatile place to start.

Keeps your dog closer and reduces excess line. A good choice for busy environments, training, and dogs who don't need much roaming room.

A little more freedom without the extra length of a traditional 6' leash.

Our longest standard length, giving your dog more room to sniff and explore on everyday walks.

WEBBING LEASHES
Lake Dog's Shore and Trailblazer gear offers a lightweight alternative to rope, made with durable webbing for water, dirt, and everyday adventure.
Shore & Trailblazer Leashes are made from heavy-duty nylon webbing and measure 6' in length. The adjustable handle can be shortened or extended, giving you flexibility in both handle size and overall leash length.
COLLARS
For the best fit, measure around your dog's neck where the collar normally sits. The collar should be snug enough that it won't slip over your dog's head while leaving enough room for comfortable movement.

If your dog's measurement falls near the edge of a size range, choose the size that places their measurement comfortably within the adjustment range rather than at its absolute minimum or maximum.
SECOND WATCH

Each product listing includes the dimensions and details for that particular piece. Because Second Watch gear is created around the rope available to us, you may find sizes and constructions that aren't part of our standard Crew lineup.
TRAFFIC HANDLES
Lake Dog Traffic Handles measure 10" from the base of the handle to the clasp connection, plus the clasp.
They're designed for situations where you want your dog close, including crowded areas, training, loading and unloading, or as a compact companion to a longer leash.
