The Second Watch Crew Leash is crafted from high-performance sailing rope remnants sourced from local sailboat riggers—materials originally engineered for demanding marine environments, now given a second life with your dog.

This rope featured in this leash is 3/8” Marlow D2 Racing Line. The 24-plait Polyester jacket runs smoothly and grips well, delivering superior performance and excellent abrasion resistance for greater longevity. Marlow's D2 Racing is a high-strength, lightweight all-round performer.

At 5 feet long, this leash strikes the ideal balance between freedom and control. The soft, flexible, coreless rope feels comfortable in hand. 

Due to the upcycled nature of the rope used in this product, no two leashes are exactly alike. Variations in color, texture, and pattern are expected and celebrated.
